Robert J. Ruppert

Robert J. Ruppert was born in New York December 18,1922 to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rupert. He attended Port Chester schools and graduated from Port Chester High School.

In Rye his family lived at 201 Purchase Street and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.



Robert enlisted in U.S. Army during World War II. He served as a private for two and one half years in the European Theater in an anti aircraft battalion.

After the war, he married Alice A, Bashuk in 1955, they later divorced. Robert worked as a chauffer for many years until his retirement


Robert J. Ruppert died December 20, 1997 in Fairfield, CT and is buried in Branchville Cemetery.
